It's race day!!! Our monthly Big Dog race. Unfortunately, we didnt' even qualify this month. But, it's all good. Gotta take the good with the bad in racing! Here's a ton of pics from qualifying!

Can I just say how much I love these now!! We were letting Taylor color with regular markers for quite awile, and then it struck me.....they make washable markers!!! Duh!!

Today, I practiced manual focusing for the first time on my camera!! Its alot harder than you think! Wow!! Here was my little practice session (it was late, so this is all at night in the living room with no flash using the tripod and timer! LOL). But I tried to focus on a different little hippo in each of the pictures. How'd I do?

Ok....final day of me being a slacker! I still can't believe I didn't take pictures for FOUR days!! What was wrong with me! LOL!!

Ok, for my final blast from the past...I'm posting my all time favorite picture of my family. It was taken on April 21. 2007. I did not take this picture. My friend Vada Bostian did! She used to own her own studio, but now works for a great place called Aesthetic Images. I just love her work. She has taken our pictures several times since this very first shoot! And we've become good friends to boot!!!

Day 3 of our "blasts from the past" was taken on Feb 23, 2007. So Taylor was about 5 1/2 months old. I just love her little gummy smile in this picture!! Heeheee!!

Today's blast from the past is Taylor's first time seeing snow!! It was at Sugar Mountain in North Carolina on December 4, 2006. So she was about 3 months old!
